Homewood embraces the hospice philosophy of ensuring the right to dignity and comfort during the final phase of our residents' lives. Each of our communities contracts with the local hospice organization. Residents eligible for hospice services may participate in the program while remaining at Homewood.
Hospice can assist in critically important areas such as pain management, support and grief counseling. Our staff makes it a priority to be responsive to families' needs and residents' wishes during this challenging time, and we are committed to compassionate end-of-life care.
